Here at Verlinde Insurance our goal is to protect your family and or business from financial hardships. There are few things that keep us up at night.  Barking neighbor dogs, hot sticky summer nights and all the things about you that we don’t know!

Problem:

We may not be the first person you call when you buy the love of your life that new diamond ring.  Finish that composite deck just prior to that big Fourth of July party? I bet photos hit Facebook before you give your friendly local Independent Insurance Agent a call!  How about that rental home that you own and a few months ago the tenant moved out?

We want to make sure that you have the correct coverage in place at the time of a loss.  If we don’t know about the ring, we can’t add it to your policy to protect it from losing a stone!  We can increase the coverage on your home to adequately cover that beautiful deck!  Rental home is vacant? Uh-Oh! There is a good chance that your coverage may be void in the event of a loss.

Sometimes we find that people just forget to let us know about these changes.  Sometimes we find that they really don’t want us to know in fear of an increase in their premiums.  There is nothing worse than having a problem and finding out you do not have coverage because we were never alerted of the change

Solution:

This year we implemented a Customer Contact program in our office. Each of our clients are receiving calls prior to their renewal.  We are reaching out to see if there are any life changes we need to know about, review their current coverage or just to say THANK YOU!!   Lines of communication work both ways!  We are always available to talk.  Give us a call, shoot us an email, tweet, facebook message, text…. Did I miss any? Smoke Signal…… Oh wait, lets not do smoke signal, where there is smoke there is fire and we don’t like fire!
